89 total views

The 2021 third-quarter bonus categories for the Chase Freedom Flex℠ and the legacy Chase Freedom® can cover the grub for your midsummer backyard barbecue, as well as your Friday night homemade-pizza-and-binge-watching tradition.

From July 1 through Sept. 30, 2021, cardholders will earn 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in combined spending on:

  • Grocery stores (excluding Target and Walmart).

  • Select streaming services (including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, Netflix, Sling, Vudu, Fubo TV, Apple Music, SiriusXM, Pandora, Spotify and YouTube TV).

You’ll have to activate the categories online or in the Chase app in order to receive the 5% rewards. You must activate by Sept. 14, but you can earn rewards retroactively for all eligible purchases.

The Chase Freedom® is closed to new applicants and earns 1% back on all other purchases.

But the Chase Freedom Flex℠ will also earn:

  • 3% back at restaurants.

  • 3% back at drugstores.

  • 1% back on all other non-bonus-category purchases.

Chase Freedom® and Chase Freedom Flex℠* bonus rewards categories for 2021

• Select streaming services.
• Internet, cable and phone services.

Q2 (April 1 – June 30)
